For many years the Link has supported a sports programme with many schools involved. The support has included providing equipment such as netball and footballs and also providing funding for sports coaches and competitions. Hundreds of children have been involved in these programmes.
As schools return there is a lack of equipment and it has been a long time since children have had the opportunity to be involved in sports activities.
The link has provided funding for every Link school to be given a supply of footballs and netballs together with an all important pump to enable these balls to be used.
The pictures below show how excited the children are to get the equipment which was purchased in Uganda and then distributed to schools.
